Do you install chargers for homes, businesses and fleets?

Yes. We provide EV charger installations for residential properties, commercial sites, apartment buildings, warehouses, and fleet depots.

Can I supply my own charger, or do I need to buy one from you?

You can supply your own charger, or we can recommend and supply a suitable unit based on your setup and vehicle.

What’s included in a standard installation?

Our standard installation typically covers domestic or simple commercial setups with up to ~15 m cable run from switchboard to charger, installation of all necessary protection devices (RCD/RCBO or equivalent), mounting the charger (wall or conduit), testing and certification upon completion. If the installation requires additional work — such as long cable runs, switchboard upgrades, or structural work — we will advise and quote accordingly.

What types of chargers and installations do you offer?

We supply and install a wide range of EV chargers — from single-phase home wallboxes to three-phase commercial and fleet systems. Whether you need a simple home charger or a full multi-station installation for a business or fleet, we can tailor a solution to suit your needs.
We also offer “installation only” if you already have a charger, or “supply + install” if you’d like us to source the unit for you.

Do you undertake switchboard upgrades if required?

Yes — before installation we assess your existing electrical switchboard and supply capacity. If an upgrade or modification is required (for example, installing a dedicated EV circuit or additional protection devices), we can carry out the upgrade as part of your installation to ensure everything is compliant and safe.

Do your installations comply with Australian electrical standards?

Yes. All installations are carried out by licensed electricians and are compliant with required national and state electrical standards (including wiring rules, safety devices, isolation, etc.). This ensures your installation is safe, certified, and valid for insurance and regulatory requirements.

What’s the difference between a portable charger and a hard-wired EV charger?

A portable charger plugs into a standard power point and charges slowly, usually 1.8kW–2.4kW.
A dedicated wall-mounted charger connects to its own circuit, offering faster, safer charging — typically 5–10x quicker depending on your electrical setup.

What EV charger do I need for my home or business?

It depends on:
• Your vehicle’s charging capability
• Single-phase vs three-phase supply
• How fast you want to charge
• Whether you have solar or battery storage

We can recommend the best charger once you complete our online quote request and provide photos of your switchboard and installation area.

How much does it cost to charge an electric vehicle?

Home charging typically costs $4–$16 for a full charge, often saving 70–90% compared to petrol. Off-peak or solar charging can reduce this to just a few dollars per charge. Most EV owners save $1,000–$2,000+ per year compared to fuelling a petrol car.

Are your installations suitable for residential, commercial and fleet clients?

Yes. We work with a variety of clients: homeowners, strata complexes, apartment buildings, businesses, fleet depots, and commercial sites. Whether you’re installing a single charger or multiple units for a fleet or apartment complex, we have the expertise and capacity to deliver.

What happens if there are variations or additional work required on the day?

If our technician identifies anything outside of a standard installation — such as extra cabling, structural limitations, switchboard capacity issues, or safety concerns — we will clearly explain the variation and provide an updated quote before proceeding.

No additional work is carried out without your approval.
This ensures full transparency, no surprises, and the option for you to accept or decline the variation before we continue.

How long does a typical installation take?

For a standard residential-type installation, most jobs can be completed within a few hours (assuming no major upgrades are required). Larger or more complex installations (commercial, multi-charger, long cable runs, switchboard work) will take longer — timeframe will be provided in the quote.

Can I use a 7kW single-phase charger with a 22kW three-phase charging station?

A 7kW single-phase charger will still work on a three-phase supply — it will simply charge at the maximum rate supported by your home and your vehicle.
If your property supports three-phase and your vehicle is compatible, we can install a 22kW charger for faster charging.

What plug type does my EV use?

Most new EVs in Australia use:
Type 2 for AC charging
CCS2 for DC fast charging

Our installations support all major EV plug types, and we can confirm compatibility when you request your quote.

What car brands can you install chargers for?

We install chargers compatible with all major EV brands, including Tesla, BYD, MG, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Volkswagen, Polestar, BMW, Mercedes, LDV and more.
If it’s an EV, we can install the charger for it.

What information do you need from me before installation?

To streamline your installation and minimise the chance of any on-site variations, please complete our online quote form with as much accurate information as possible. The form will prompt you to upload photos of your switchboard, meter box and preferred charger location, along with a few key details about your property setup.

If you have any additional questions or unique site considerations, you can also reach out through our contact form and we’ll be happy to assist before installation day.

Do you provide certification and warranty after installation?

Yes — every installation includes compliance certification upon completion. If you purchase the charger through us (supply + install) we also manage any applicable warranty. We can also discuss ongoing support if needed.

Where do you provide installation services?

We provide installation services across Victoria and throughout Australia, depending on project size and availability.
We encourage all enquiries — residential, commercial and fleet — and we’ll confirm serviceability when you submit your quote request.
